“Adults need to loosen up and play more!” says Belinda Marsh of Fancy That Costumes, a business that encourages adults to play more.
“They need to lighten up to help them unleash their creativity,” she added. But before they can play, adults like Belinda need to work hard first. And she knew she needed to find someone who could guide her like a mentor.
Finding a Mentor
Belinda was aware that she needed a mentor. There was a boatload of stuff she didn’t know–stuff she wanted to know before she made a mistake. But the problem was, where to find one?
When Dale Beaumont’s email arrived in her inbox one day, Belinda knew she found the answer she was looking for. “It was an absolute no-brainer to attend his workshop,” she declared. “And I was so glad I did.”

Belinda brought him in to train the team just before Halloween, and the results were astounding. They made more business in that one week than she did in the entire month of October three years ago.
She also had a 2-day workshop with Simone Novello on finding strategic alliance and leveraging growth in your business. “It was incredible.”
Achieving Solid Results
Through Business Blueprint Belinda also met Peter Moriarty, who helped her set up her google sites. Another business she has been introduced to and utilised is a web company called Magic Dust. She used it to help her with social media promotion around Halloween.
The immense support from the Blueprint community helped Belinda to rapidly transform her business and achieve record growth and profit.
“We’ve almost doubled the business in the 3 years since I’ve opened. It’s been the best thing that has ever happened to me,” she confessed.
